Pearce, The Christadelphian, 1967, page 393). This is the very essence of the Gospel, "the power of God unto salvation". In it we see how "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Corinthians 5:20). Any lesser concept of the Gospel, any shallower knowledge of God, is not the Gospel at all, but a human sentiment which, in view of the fulness of the revelation in both Old and New Testaments, must surely leave men "without excuse"."

"Christ’s "gospel of the kingdom" is so simple and beautiful that children soon apprehend it, and thus "come unto him."
