Queensland Christadelphian Care Group

Mission Statement

"The mission of the support network is to offer suitably qualified support in areas of mental, emotional, physical, and relationship dysfunction or crisis that are beyond the capacity of ecclesias. Consistent with this objective, support will be offered by people who are qualified by profession, training, or extensive experience and whose philosophies are consistent with Christadelphian values and beliefs."

Aims

"The Queensland Christadelphian Support Network was developed in recognition of the fact that many of the problems confronted by ecclesias today demand a knowledge and expertise that is often beyond their individual capacity. The Network aims to bring together the expertise of the whole community and put it at the disposal of ecclesias that are in need of specialist advice."

South Australia Christadelphian Care Group

Sponsored by Aberfoyle Park, Adelaide, Barossa, Hyde Park, Mt Barker, South Adelaide, Southern Vales Ecclesias

"The Care Group is one of the ways our ecclesia cares for its members. Each of us can get support from family, medical or social professionals, brothers and sisters in the ecclesia and formal ecclesial help. The Care Group is a part of the way our ecclesia has decided to assist us with the burdens that can weigh us down.

Ecclesias share with other brothers and sisters from other ecclesias the privilege of helping and being helped. By sharing the load we can all have access to Christadelphians who understand our hopes and vision, who know the struggles we have and the issues we confront as we seek to live the Truth.

The cooperation of ecclesias like this is a wonderful blessing. Brothers and sisters who have care, compassion and training in ways to help us deal with the cares and anxieties of life are available whenever you need them. The training they have gives them skills to help you find solutions to the issues you are dealing with based on scriptural principles. They also have access to skilled professionals who are sensitive to our Faith.

We pray for the time – soon to come – when our Saviour will come to take away all our sorrows and bring the “peace that passes all understanding”."

Victorian Christadelphian Care Group

"The Care Group was established to complement the welfare work of Christadelphian Ecclesias. It is not designed to encroach on ecclesial autonomy or to replace or interfere with the pastoral care and support which is the ongoing responsibility of each ecclesia. The Care Group wants to be seen as offering a complementary service to Ecclesias by providing them with additional skills and expertise as and when required . The Care Group will assist Ecclesias and individuals in coping with the more complex & difficult issues that face our community today."
