About Shine!

 

"Shine! is not for profit with all money from CD sales going to cover the cost of production.

 

‘Shine!’ is an exciting new Christian album for kids between 3 to 12 years old. All of the songs are bible based originals, written and performed by Australian sister and brother duo Alison Creighton and Daniel Stewart.

 

‘Shine!’ is an complete music resouce kit suitable for the home, schools and sunday schools. The double album contains:

• 21 original Bible based songs on CD 1;
  
• backing/instrumental tracks of appropriate songs on CD 2; and
  
• a BONUS Music and Activity Book on CD 2 (PDF)
  

The main aim of 'Shine!' is to provide kids with new original music that is Biblical based and fun to listen too. In addition to being Bible based, to help

children develop a love of music, the album also showcases a variety of fun musical styles including:

• ‘Wiggles’ style;
  
• Playschool style;
  
• Pop/Rock, Country, Folk, Caribbean/Spanish/African influences;
  
• Sea Shanty;
  
• Round, Counting song, Animal song, movement/action songs;
  
• Major, minor, pentatonic and mixolydian scales; and
  
• A range of time signatures.
  

The album also includes a wide variety of songs that encourage movement and action to help children:

• learn about spatial awareness;
  
• learn about their body and new physical movements;
  
• improve co-ordination and balance;
  
• improve motor skills (gross and fine);
  
• memorise and develop memory skills;
  
• follow directions; and
